Members of our team have supported the majors works scoping and testing of regional station upgrades which encompasses interface management on projects up to $200 million.

Regional Railway Station Carrier Services Upgrade

Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) required our expertise during their upgrade of the regional railway stations. The Regional Rail Revival (RRR) is one of Victoria’s largest regional community upgrades having an asset value of more than 1 billion dollars.

The upgrade provided the regional railway stations along the rail corridor with carrier services from Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.

Our role was to undertake testing at each of the regional railway stations. We provided RPV with a comprehensive network coverage report that detailed the mobile phone coverage levels for each station.

This data was used to support the need to upgrade carrier services throughout the regional railway network. Upgrading the carrier services would mean that thousands of rail commuters would have access to mobile and internet coverage.
